Caleykiz Border Collies is a family run show kennel based in Otley, West Yorkshire and formed in 2003 after our previous kennel Loracian went their separate ways due to personal reasons. As the Loracian Kennel, we had many successes and our breeding can be found in numerous pedigrees all over the world and have produced many champions including Sh. Ch. Loracian Black Shadow JW.
As Caleykiz we currently have a top winning show team with numerous successes. One of our Greatest achievements is our Blue and White bitch, Sh. Ch. Loracian Rhythm 'n' Blues who has won 4CC, 9RCC and Pastoral Group 1 at an all Breeds Championship show, making her the only prick eared blue and white Border Collie to Win such an award.
In 2004, Mark Carter joined our kennel with his 2 dogs, Loracian Black Prince and Markanti Cast a Spell, with both dogs being a throw back to our old Loracian lines . In 2005, Markanti Cast a Spell was mated to Sh. Ch. & Ir Ch. Beesting Orlando and produced the first Caleykiz Show Champion in the form of Sh. Ch. Caleykiz Mystical Dragon JW.
Donna has also had many successes in the show ring handling other peoples dog and has handled many dogs to CCs also did well in JHA, winning a 3rd place at her last semi-final at Richmond and she also handled our first show dog, Wizaland Newz Maker to Reserve Golden Oldie.
This year Caleykiz had a record entry at Crufts with 10 dogs entered as well as numerous from our lines also competing including Spellweaver Mr Bojangles who was competing in both the breed and in the YKC stakes finals with his owner and handler Emma Beasley.
